Clonakilty Tea Shop in Rossa Street, is a sea of tranquility in a busy town centre. It is a niche but quaint business in the heart of town and run by Veronica and Neils who bring their passion to the venture. They are experts at tea really, who craft all their tea blends for their drinks themselves: from herb/tea leaves/spices to extracts and homemade syrups for their popular “tea lattes” such as chai lattes and more. They are really passionate about bringing back a strong tea culture to Ireland, as well as incorporating elements of other tea cultures. They believe tea is a wonderful and versatile beverage and they devote their spirit into what they do.
Clonakilty Tea Shop has also launched its own organic coffee brand and is always expanding its coffee menu. It also serves very popular thick and creamy Belgian hot chocolates with different flavors and seasonal options. On the food side; Niels and Veronica make their homemade Danish rolls and other Scandinavian treats here on site.
Atmosphere wise they believe in a welcoming, cozy space where people can relax and enjoy their tea or coffee as well as have a good read or work with their laptop.
