The Truth Behind Food and Cancer

Breakthrough Cancer Research and University College Cork are launching a new free booklet today 'the truth behind food and cancer' that gives scientific based information on the link between diet and cancer. It is in response to the fact that a recent survey of 1000 Irish cancer survivors found that there is huge confusion and lots of conflicting advice out there on what causes cancer and what can help with cancer treatment, without any supporting evidence. One interesting finding is that the new popular trend of intravenous vitamins can interfere with chemo and radiation therapy. You’ll find some other examples extracted below.
